A short 3 hr drive today via 210 and 371. We originally were going to stay 5 nights, but have reduced to 2 as we changed our route to stop in Fargo and Bismarck to visit some historic forts.
Camp Ripley is a Minnesota National Guard camp and the RV park is located on base in a wooded area on the Mississippi River. The campground is small, but very nice and well maintained with E/W and a dump station. There is no satellite access, but WI-FI is very good.

The most exciting thing for me are the deer that frequent the campground at night. We would definitely stay here again. Price is $17/nt.

On the base is a very good military museum that is open to the public. It has a good display of arms, jeeps,tanks,helicopters and history of the wars.

On Wednesday we leave for Casselton ND near Fargo for several nights.
These are some really great pictures! My fiancee and I are thinking about having our wedding at Camp Ripley and it's nice to see these pictures!
