This was our last night in Presho, SD and were elated that son Eric and family stopped by for visit enroute to their vacation to the Blackhills area for the week. This was their 3rd vacation change this summer. They were originallyl supposed to do a European cruise and then a trip to Charleston, but COVID changed everything. I expressed so much enthusiasm for South Dakota that they decided to tour the Blackhills and Badlands area. Sure hope they enjoy as much as we did. Safe travels family and enjoy your vacation.

Left today for North Point SP in Pickstown,SD for 3 nights. When we booked this our intent was to visit Fort Randall, but earlier when we were at Salem,SD we drove down for the tour. Will write about that later. Anyway, John has made contact with the Museum director and we will meet with him tomorrow for more info on Fort Randall and the Fort Randall AFS that is now occupied by the local tribe casino.
The park is very nice and is on Missouri River/Francis Case Lake. Sites have 50amp..no water or sewer. Nice walking path around the lake and a swimming beach. Lots of Cottonwood trees and our site has satellite access. Nearest full service grocery is in Wagner..14 miles away.

Friends Joy and Kevin toured the RV Hall of Fame Museum in Elkhart, IN and sent us picture of 1985 Bounder. Wonder if someone will be driving our Bounder years from now. Can honestly say if we were to buy another Motorhome, it would be a Bounder. If you follow recalls, Fleetwood seldom if ever has a recall. Besides John knows this one in and out and is very adept at doing repairs. We are attached. Thanks for sending photos. Wish you would consider a South Dakota vacation next year while we are at Elkhorn Ridge in May and June. Lots of walking areas for Shylo.

While we are here will visit fort in Burwell, NEB..140 miles from here.
We leave on 23rd for Onawa, IA.
Oh yes, we have become addicted to DOT"S PREZELS and buying many bags as you can't get them out of Dakota or so we have been told.
