Lunch with Matt

Sun came out today for our drive into San Francisco to have lunch with Matthew Kent. We first met Matt in August 2009 on our trip to Presidio when he gave us tour and history of the military base dating back to the Spanish in 1776. The US Army took control in 1846. It is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.http:www//nps.gov/prsf

 Matt has written an extensive and informative book entitled "Harbor Defenses of San Francisco, a Field Guide from 1890-1950". He and John have shared some very useful information and photos.

We had a nice lunch at the Presidio Golf Club Cafe.
