Arrival Grant's Pass OR

7 November 2012

Had a nice,scenic drive to Grant's Pass via HWY 97,138,62 and 234 to our campground "Riverpark RV Resort" on the Rogue River off Hwy 99.
The campground is small and our site #12 with full hookups is next to river.We will be here for 5 nights before leaving for Eureka,CA.

The Rogue River Valley is in southern Oregon and very pretty. Our drive took us through the Deschutes, Umqua,Siskiyou and Rogue RiverNational Forests.Beautiful old growth pines. We were just a short drive from Crater Lake of 138, but since we have been there several times, decided to bypass this time.

Rain and snow predicted for tomorrow and Friday, but the weatherman is not always correct.

There are several forts in the area John wants to visit.
