Our home for the next two weeks is Lake Champagne RV campground in central Vermont off IH 89. We are in site D overlooking green meadows and mountains to the east. They have 123 sites with full hookups and 3 acre lake. One of the few campgrounds to have an extensive recycle program. It is close to the charming town of Randolph. It is very quiet and peaceful. A good choice for location.

Our drive was only 4 hours, crossing New Hampshire. We first visited Vermont around 18 years ago for a conference sponsored by John's former boss and always friend, Ray. Unfortunately we can't remember the location.
While we are here we are going to visit friends, Dave and Carol, we met at Merritt Island, FL in March. They live down the road in MT Holly.
Tomorrow we are going to Fort Ticonderoga in New York on Lake Champlain..around a 2 hour drive. We sill board Destiny at the Randolph Animal Clinic just down the road.
In all our state visits, think Maine and Vermont are at the top of the list.
