Our blog is to keep family and friends informed of our motorhome journeys.
We have dreamed of this for many years and finally our dream has come true.
We are looking forward to many happy miles ahead.

March Come and Gone

 31 March 2021

March come and gone. We have had a wonderful stay here reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones.Katy and Jeff and MO and JO Terry and William.most of whom will return next year or later this year. As for us it will be a return in February thru April. Robin and Ken hosted 2 more pot lucks with around 20 in attendance. Good conversations, laughs and delicious food.

Met friends Chuck and Rose Mary at the Elia Greek Taverna on Durango and Sahara for early dinner one day. Quite a dining experience, staff very attentive and friendly, food delicious and couldn't pass on the brule dessert. Rather spendy, but well worth it and look forward to a return visit next year. Thanks friends for suggesting.

Went to Olive Garden, Bagel Cafe , Applebee's and return visit to Southpoint for Buffet with our RV friends. Too much eating out, but we enjoy.

Thunderbirds were practicing over campground. Unfortunately weather not so good.

We had our final checkups and all went well except I was put on more BP meds. Not too happy about this, but will give it a try.Enough said. John got his 2nd Moderna shot today. I am still on the fence, but will see what I can do when we get to Oregon on the 6th.

Had Connie make a yard golf theme decoration for Darin since he is an avid golfer. Hope he likes it.

Thanks, Connie

Said my last goodby to Mader, Connie and Don's precious rescue dog. We would take him a second. He is so sweet. Feel this way about Luna and Shylo. Love them all.

Had a beautiful full moon. Sorry picture not so good,

Tomorrow we head out to Hawthorne,NV at Whiskey Flats, in my opinion the only decent RV park between Hawthorne and LV. We have stayed here several times. 300 miles up 95 north..a long and desolate drive passing thru several towns that seem in need of revitalization.

So long friends, til we return..safe travels for all and keep in touch.

Thought for the Day:

"Living is not merely going to the office, or passing examinations, or having children, or the everlasting struggle for bread and butter; that is only part of it. Living also implies seeing the trees, the sunlight on the river, a bird on the wing, the moon through the clouds; it is to be aware of smiles and tears,of turmoils and anxieties ; it is to know love, to be gentle, compassionate and to perceive the extraordinary depth and width of existence.""Jiddu Krishnamurti
