Today we drove up to Sun West to visit friends, Barb and Lisa, who were our neighbors in Salem. They bought a winter home in Sun West less than 15 miles from our campground. It has been several years since we last visited at a campground in Salem. They have remodeled their home and landscaped backyard. So much catching up and the lunch was delicious. It is an active community under normal circumstance with activities and sports to each one's preference. Their dog Groot, a doberman, very friendly. Sorry I did not get photo. Thanks for a nice afternoon. Hope to see you next year.
Well, the rain came for several days along with wind and some sleet. Rain needed in this area. Even saw a coyote in field next to campground.

Our friends, Phil and Denise, whom we met at Nellis several years ago stopped by and will be in the site next to us for several days. They drove up from Yuma where they are wintering in order to have some maintenance on their Motorhome. We last visited with them in Spearfish, SD at Elkhorn Ridge in June. We will see them again in June while we are in Spearfish. Thanks for coming by. We always enjoy your visits. Had them over for spaghetti dinner on Tuesday.They brought their Benshot wine glasses and bottle of wine. Very clever designs.ordered the cocktail glass with bullet for son-in-law, Shawn and beer glass with golfball for son Darin. I am still deciding which one I want. This will probably be my last entry until we get to our next destination at Nellis AFB in February.
It has been a nice 3 week stay here and will definitely return.
