Final Days in Tucson

Today we say good-by to Tucson and head on up to Phoenix and our home at Luke AFB until we depart for Nellis AFB in LV on 1 Feb until 8 April.

This has been a good stay since 20th of December visiting Darin and Kerry and reconnecting with dear friends, Marta and Bill whom we met at the USAF Academy in June of 2015. Would not come to Tucson without a visit with them. Fate brought us together and we shall remain friends in years to come.Their home is so welcoming and we always enjoy our visits. We may meet up again at Nellis...sure hope so.

Took dinner over to Darin and Kerry's as this may be last time before we leave to see them. Made Alinda's Salmon recipe with parsley and parmesan, did fresh squash and zucchini and salad. For appetizers, Kerry made a charcuterie platter. Had a nice visit with lots of laughs and conversation. Once again since we don't drive at night, Darin picked us up and drove us home. See you either in November or December if not before.Take care and thanks for everything..love you..

Got some sunrise and cactus photos. Find the Eve's cactus very interesting..doesn't really look like a cactus.

Spent most of week planning our continuing journey for 2021..everything hinges on whether or not we can get into several military campgrounds in Florida. For the past several years John says no more trips East and really think this will be the last. Anyway he considers this more South than East. Just can't decide where to settle. I wil be 80 this year and John 84. We like to think this is the new 60's.

When we get to Nellis will get our annual checkups. Hopefully all goes well.
