Arrival at one of our favorite campgrounds on Fort Huachuca Army Base in Sierra Vista,AZ we were given same spot as last year #11. Office was closed, but our checkin was waiting for us in the office.

One of the first things I did was laundry. Was hoping to be greeted by deer and Javelinas, but not to be. Did see some deer driving from the gate to ball field. The Aerostat was up, but did not get photo.
We will be here until 20th.Tomorrow will hang Christmas decorations inside as it is too windy to have much outside.
On Saturday son Darin drove down from Tucson. Usually John can escort him through the gate, but since this is a high security base, he had to get a visitor pass that is good for a year. In fact you show your ID thru a closed window and masks are mandatory on base. I made a pot of chili and cornbread.

Also some pumpkin cookies. It was enjoyed by all and we had a very nice visit and lots of laughs. Will see him again if not before when we get to Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson.
This has been a relaxing and quiet stay thus far. Shopping is convenient. Want to take a drive into Bisbee and Douglas while we are here. Sure there are some other historic sites we missed last year.
Have a nice view of the Huachuca Mountain Range.
