A very short drive today from Bonner's Ferry, ID to Creston, BC..1 hour and border crossing very easy. Took some photos enroute of landscape and beautiful homes overlooking Kootenay River..note: in Canada they spell with a y instead of i.

Our Campground,Pair A Dice, is very nice and quiet. Full hookups with 50amp and view of mountains and close to Tim Horton's. Went there for lunch then drove into town and visitor center. We have several drives we want to do around Kootenay Lake if weather cooperates. Total USD price for 7 nights is $230. Their Wi-Fi is free and works great.

Walked around downtown, got an ice cream cone and drove down to Millennium Park on 16th. Very nice park with a Friendship Garden, Elk Pavillon and rose bushes around the water fountain. The park opened in 2004 thanks to the efforts of the citizens and Rotary Club. The Friendship Garden was a gift from Creston's sister city of Kaminoho, Japan.
The Creston Elks Club built the covered bandstand. The Park is a favorite for graduations and weddings.
