This is our 3rd visit and probably our last due to shortening of our travels. One of the main reasons for coming here this year was to visit with good friends, Mo and Jo whom we met in 2021 at Nellis AFB in LV.They are now full-time here and purchased a park model. They still have their 09 Bounder, but not traveling much anymore..maybe just short trip one in awhile.

We are in our same spot B-61 and very nice site in area for short term and over nighters.

 After checking in, picked up calendar of December events. Corona came out to wash and ceramic wax and seal roof. Aureleo did a great job..thank you.

  With the iHome washed, I put up the Christmas decorations..Many from the Dollar Tree except wreath that good friend from Oregon made us several years ago. Thank you Alinda.

  This is a very active park serving Monday breakfasts for a nominal fee of which we partake.They will serve Christmas Dinner on 21st..just bring an appetite. On Sundays they have non denomination service in Rec Hall.Craft Fair was very nice with many handmade items..I purchased USA hat to add to my collection.On 18th a Christmas Light Parade with ATV and Golf Cart vehicles adorned with lights etc. Unfortunately my photos were not good. For the parade we invited Mo ad Jo over for popcorn and hot chocolate and to view the parade.

On Friday the 6th we went with Mo and Jo across highway to Black Rock Cafe for Fish dinner which was very good. Had leftovers for lunch next day.Saturday we ordered 1 prime rib dinner to go. It was ample to share. The Cafe seems to be busy serving 3 meals a day.

For shopping you either go into Quartzsite or Parker. Parker has a Walmart and Safeway and our preferred place to shop.In Quartzsite there are 2 small groceries and a very good RV parts store RV Lifestyles on frontage road behind Love's. They also do repairs.

On Christmas we were invited to pot luck get together of close friends of Mo and Jo's. Met new friends and had a good time. Thanks for including us.John and I exchanged cards earlier in the day. Happy Holidays to all family and friends. Your Blessings and friendships are our greatest gifts.

The sunsets have been awesome and weather ideal..mostly in 70's. Sure do sleep better in cooler weather.

The mailroom is unbelievable. No reason why most parks can't have the same. The Amazon packages that arrive everyday as well as regular mail is entertainment in itself. If receiving package, a notice is put in your assigned box.The mailroom staff is to be commended for their good work. Also the RV Staff and Kitchen workers do a great job and very friendly. Thanks to all of you..sure makes the stay most enjoyable.

We depart on 1 January for Nellis AFB in LV for 4 month  stay and visiting with friends in park and those who live  in LV.
