14 February 2023
Today was my first Cataract surgery. Arrived at Day Surgery for a 730AM appointment and prep.Have a positive attitude and full confidence in Dr. Dennis. Surgery lasted around 30 or 45 minutes and totally painless. All went great. The surgery staff is awesome..so caring and helpful. Looking forward to next one on the 28th. Thank you all. Feel so fortunate to be able to have medical care at the Nellis AFB clinic. John is very good at putting in the eyedrops which will be a month in each eye.

Pat and Darwin had a small lunch potluck get together. Our group has slowly diminished. This was first day since our arrival that the weather was good for sitting outside. Laughs, good food and conversation completed the gathering.
24 February
We went with Pat & Darwin and Lorraine & Bill to the Bagel Cafe. We always make it a point to visit at least once when we are here. Of course, we can't leave without visiting the Deli and Bakery section for take home. Got Bagels, Coconut cake (lasted 3 desserts) and potato Kugel.
28 February
My left eye surgery today. Dr Dennis had previous commitment and Dr Nelson performed the surgery. Of course it went well and now looking forward to better distant vision. No more bifocals, just readers when needed. John is so impressed with recovery and change that he is now going to have the surgery when we return in Sept and Oct. Took the Day Surgery a gift bag of Dot's pretzels, homemade macadamia cookies and 2 bags of Ghirardelli chocolates. Just my way of saying thank you.
My last visit will be on the 28th of March.
