Today we toured the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville,AL. The general admission is $25 for the walking tour and museum exhibits. Additional costs for the National Geo theater,Planetarium,Sea TREK, Apollo 11VR and other exhibits. The Museum is operated by the state of Alabama which opened in 1970 after the Apollo Moon Landing. It features more than 1500 permanent rocketry and space artifacts. Also located here is the U.S. Space Camp and Aviation Challenge. For more in depth information suggest you go to the wikipedia site.
Below are some photos of the exhibits. This seems to be a great learning and hands on museum for kids and adults. You could spend a day here.
