A short 50 mile drive today to Copalis Beach,WA and Driftwood RV on Hwy 109 for 5 nights.
Must say we were quite impressed with the RV park, one of the nicest in the area. The park is gated, with the most up to date utility connections we have had for some time. Much care has been given to the landscaping and they are in the process of adding 30 additional sites. The campground backs up to Copalis River and is a short distance via car to the beaches in the area. We are in site #15,a backin with 50 amp and satellite reception. Sites are long, gravel and have ample space between sites.

After settling in we drove the short distance to Ocean Shores for groceries. Saw several deer grazing in the yards and median. This area has lots of motels, condos and restaurants. Also next to the IGA is a very large and well stocked ACE.

Weather is in the 60's and foggy with smoke from California and British Columbia wildfires.
From here on the 24th we head back to Redmond,OR and final visit with family until May.
Oldest son, Eric, sent me a photo of his 48 year old Teddy Bear after plastic surgery. Somethings we keep forever. So glad he kept this.

Hope also sent photo of her climb to Smith Rock on her 46th Birthday. Even at that age I didn't have the stamina to do this difficult climb. So happy she did not see any rattlesnakes.
