A 4 hour drive via Hwy 9 to Canada Border in New Brunswick. You immediately know the difference as route 9 in Maine was bumpy bumpy and Canada 1 smooth. Our campground in St John, Rockwood Park, is our 2nd stay. It is a very nice park with lots of lakes, hiking & biking trails, zoo and a nice restaurant. We are only here 2 nights before taking BFL ferry to Digby NS.

Ferry departed at 200PM and is a 2 hour ride across the Bay of Fundy to Digby. Quite impressed with the ferry. Made all our ferry reservations in March. This will be the first of 4 crossings. On the 20 June we take the ferry from North Sydney NS to Argentia NL, then on the 13 August from Channel Port Aux Basques NL back to North Sydney. On the 17 August from Yarmouth NS to Portland ME via the CAT. The ferry to Argentia is the longest at around 15 hours. We do have a cabin for this ride. Met a nice couple from Toronto and another couple from Idaho. Couple from Idaho staying 1 night at same campground.

We arrived at our campground, Dunromin near the towns of Annapolis Royal and Granville Ferry. This is a nice campground on the Annapolis River.Friendly staff and well maintained. We have full hookups with 50amp.

After getting settled, drove into Annapolis Royal at Old English Pub for dinner. This night Celtic musicians were providing entertainment. Also ran into Idaho couple who were also having dinner. They have gone from sail boating to RVing.

Tomorrow we are going to visit Fort Anne and Port Royale.
