We arrived back at Nellis AFB Desert Eagle Campground on the 5th and have had a busy week gathering with friends and doing RV repairs and errands.

It is good to be back as we enjoy our RV visits with good friends. On Tuesday we went with good friends Chuck and Rose Mary who live here to the Bagel Cafe..lots of laughs, good food and visit. Looking forward to many more visits while we are here until the 5 April.
On Monday what started out to be a run to the RV store for parts, ended up being a day of errands and not returning until 4PM. After having the mobile wash out for washing the RV, we went to two RV stores for parts. John then realized he had left his ATM card in the machine at the base Exchange so we went back to get it. We then went to Salted Malted for lunch, Walmart, Good Sam's for car wash, Dollar store for crossword books and finally home. Did get a good picture of snowcapped Mt Charleston.

Wednesday we joined Pat, Darwin, Bill, Lorraine, Deb, Warren at Olive Garden for dinner.
Thursday we visited with our group and later went to Pieology for Pizza. Fortunately we are all in the same area that makes visiting easy.

All this eating out has added a few extra pounds so we passed on the seafood buffet at Aliante on Friday.
Have been walking around the campground at least 4 times a day and sometimes Pat walks with me.
John replaced the broken screendoor latch and pressure release valve on the water heater. Still more to do in time.
It was 60 years ago today that John joined the Air Force and retired in 1979. Thank you, dear, for your service.
Missed the lunar eclipse, Snowmoon and comet last night due to cloud cover.
