We left our campground in Greenville VA 2 days early. Short drive up IH 81 (100 miles) to our home until 7 Jun, Candy Hill RV Park in Winchester,VA. Our previous stay was in April 2012 and we somehow got the same site #F-4. This is a very nice family run park, with full hookups, concrete pads, swimming pool, dog run,laundry and well stocked store. Staff is very nice and would definitely recommend if in the area. While here we plan on visiting some West VA forts and markers. The park is located across HWY 50 from Walmart, restaurants and close to Historic Winchester and other sights. The name comes from the family dog,Candy, who is buried up on the hill.
The park also has a storage area for RV's and is adjacent to a golf course. You must register for WiFi or use your own.
