Have been remiss in writing my blog as we have just been enjoying the beach and not venturing out except for visits to the commissary and exchange.I also left 2013 with a stomach virus and welcomed 2014 with a day in bed. Think I might have gotten a tainted chicken salad sandwich from Dunkin Donuts. Since this was only thing eaten different from John, came to that conclusion.
Thought at first it might have been Norovirus, but since John did not get sick felt it had to be this. From now on will only have coffee and donuts from there.
Our walks on the beach have produced many sand dollars. Today the new recruits were training on the beach. What a great place to train.

We will return next year. Our grandson Jack who is in the Round Rock Texas Dragons Marching Band will be performing in the Rose Bowl and we for sure want to see this.
John has been putting his Barbeque skills to good use. I am now eating "Moo" once in a while, but mostly foul and pork.
