For Colt's 9th Birthday, he wanted to take two of his friends Gatlin and Braden to the Oregon State University Beaver game in Corvallis in the motorhome with John and his Dad Shawn. This is a first experience for John and not sure Shawn was comfortable not being in the driver's seat, but off they went.

After checking in at the KOA in Corvallis/Albany, they had hopes of getting to the tailgate party, but after arriving, finding a parking space and getting the tickets at will call, food was almost gone so they went to their seats in section 11 awaiting the kickoff against Washington State.

The guys wore their orange shirts and hats and the boys were decked out in Beaver shirts, hats, socks and anything else to show support.
Hope and I watched on TV. Must say it was first sports game I have watched in years. It was a good game with the final score 19-6. Yea Beavers. Made the day for the boys.

After a quick dinner at McDonald's and late arrival back at campground, it was time for bed. Everyone was exhausted after a long drive and day.
Sunday they made a stop at Justin's farm for the pumpkin patch and hayride. Justin is a friend of Shawn's. He and his wife have a real nice produce farm going into Corvallis. John brought back some delicious Fuji apples, beefsteak tomatoes and plums. When we are in Salem, will try and drive down.
